Bobby Grey Dunham, 75, of Back Creek Valley,
went to be with the Lord Monday,
October 30, 2006 at the VA Medical Center.


He was born November 1, 1930 in Hedgesville,
the son of the late Harwood and Pearl Mason
Dunham.


He was a lifelong resident of Glengary in
Back Creek Valley except for time
served in the military. A veteran of
the U. S. Army, he served during the
Korean War as a medic on the front lines.


He was owner and operator of Bobby Dunham's
Sawmill at Glengary.


He was co-founder of the Circle of Love
Church and founder and director of Circle
of Love Free Food Distribution which he
founded 20 years ago by divine direction
of our Lord and Savior. Bobby served as
President of Winning Souls to Jesus Crusade
Team under Rev. Donald Scruggs of
Winchester, VA, for nine years.


He was former Republican Executive Committee
Chairman of Berkeley County, and past
president of Berkeley County Republican Club.


He was a member of Back Creek Valley
Council #15, Junior Order of American
Mechanics, and served on the Berkeley
County Farm Bureau Board of Directors
for two terms.


In 1996 Bobby was named by then Governor
Gaston Caperton as West Virginia Man of
the Year in festivities at the Civic
Center in Charleston. In 2002 Bobby
was South Berkeley Man of the Year.


He is survived by his wife, Rev. Dottie Dunham;
three sons, Bobby Shively of Hamtramack of MI,
John Shively of Port Orchard, WA, and
James C. Shively, Sr., of Glengary;
two daughters, Rhonda Parkinson and husband,
Wayne of Glengary and Beth Feagans and
husband, Bruce of Inwood; 12 grandchildren,
Billy and Stephanie Shively of Michigan,
Stephen and Tara Shively of Washington State,
James C. Shively, Jr., of Flint, MI,
Levi Parkinson of Gerrardstown; Colton Parkinson
of Glengary, Guy and Teffany Parkinson of SD,
Summer Shively of Glengary and Allen and Allison
Feagans of Inwood; great-granddaughter,
Breann Shively of Flint, MI; two brothers
and their wives, Max and Violet Dunham and
Glen Donald and Patsy Dunham, all of Glengary;
Father-in-law, Curtis Markle of Glengary,
Brother-in-law, Harry Bailey and wife,
Carroll of Glengary; Sisters-in-law, Jane,
Betty and Nellie Dunham and Frances Markle;
daughter-in-law, Mary Shively of Glengary;
close and dear friends, Boyd and Mary Ann Dick,
and a number of nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by a son,
Robert Silver Dunham; five brothers,
Floyd, Ollen, Bruce, Paul, and Eugene
Dunham and three sisters, Evelyn Parsons,
Azealea Bailey and Maxine Dunham.


Funeral services will be held Friday,
November 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Brown
Funeral Home's South Berkeley Chapel in
Inwood with Rev. Lane Fishel, Dave Brannon
and Rev. Dave Alter officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery
with military graveside honors.


The family will receive friends at the
South Berkeley Chapel on Wednesday and
Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.


A Service by Council #15, Junior Order
of American Mechanics will be held at
the funeral chapel at 7 pm on Wednesday.
