Mary Ellen Vest, 65, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at City Hospital.


Born March 16, 1943 in McClure, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Buford
Bessie Stout Buford.


She was a member of Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church.


She is survived by three sons, Terry Roger Klahre, of Winchester, VA, Anthony Edward Klahre, of Kearneysville, and Michael William Klahre, of Middleway, WV; one daughter, Pamela Marie Hannon, of Phoenix, AZ, five grandchildren, Caleb, Anthony Jackson and Brandy Klahre, Rachel and Emily Hannon; one brother, James Otis Vest, of Wisconsin and one sister, Pina Jean Fleckenstein, of Baltimore, MD.


She was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Vest and three sisters, Venna M. Young, Dolly Stotler and Jenny Fletcher.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2008, at the Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Owens officiating. Interment will held at Maranatha Memorial Gardens.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on
Wednesday.
