We were saddened to hear that our friend Paul had passed away. I met Paul in the mid-70s. My father & I bought a well drilling rig from him. This was just the beginning of a friendship that has lasted all these years. The many trips I rode with Paul to Clarksburg, Charleston & Flatwoods over the years are great memories. He always had a great sense of humor & we laughed most of the way. He would never let me drive & always insisted he drive his car or truck. His dedication to the Water Well Industry is commendable, I am sure he had hundreds if not thousands of hours working with legislature, regulatory agencies & WVWDA. Both water well customers & water drilling contractors have benefited from his work. His pleasant demeanor and unselfishness will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family & friends. We are going to miss you ole friend. B W Smith Well Drilling , Mark ,Cindy, Travis, Chad , Dennis & Chris

Oh my goodness. So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Paul and I worked together at the IRS in Production Control on the midnight shift. He sat behind me and would deliberately not answer his phone because he knew it irritated me. He was a great guy and I loved working with him; he brought a lot of fun for us during those long night shifts. My most deepest condolences to his wife and family during this time of loss. Remember his kind spirit. May God bring you comfort and peace.
