Dear Lamp Family: I am so sorry for your recent loss. We are never prepared for such a tragedy. With the love and support shown by loving family,  concerned friends, and the peace from God your heart will mend. Philippians 4:6,7 and Acts 24:15 were very comforting scriptures for me. I hope they do the same for you. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

Calvin, Dale, Cookie and family, I am so sorry to hear of Tootsies passing. I lost contact with a lot of family through the tears but I have wonderful memories of our younger years to Cherish forever. (Reva and Tobys daughter)

So very sorry to read of Joyce’s passing, I enjoyed working with her at the Old Martin’s Grocery Store that was located on Raleigh Street at the time, she was a real sweetheart, so kind and funny!! Then our paths crossed again while attending First Baptist Church. Always had that sweet, sweet smile on her face! May God comfort your family during this difficult time as only he can! Love, Donna

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. Losing a loved one to death is one of the hardest things to deal with in life. And while nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible, (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

Calvin, Rick, Tracey, Matt & families:: This life is sometimes so hard to figure out. Should we be happy or sad when someone leaves us. The answer is now and forever will be Yes. Yes we should be sad for ourselves because we are experiencing a void in our lives that can't be filled. And we should be happy that she has earned the opportunity to be eternally JOYFUL. Shed a tear, smile a smile but remember that you guys are the only ones who can make her wishes come true. The last time I talked to her, the thing that was upper most on her mind was a wish that her whole family would get along, help one another and be happy. You are the only one that knows what she meant, and you are the only one who can make her wish come true. If you should need our help in any way please let us know.
