Obituary for William Edward Laing
William Edward Laing, 76, of Bunker Hill passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Willow Tree.
Born June 26, 1944 in Charlottesville, VA, he was the son of the late Lawrence Edward Laing and Grace Rohr Laing.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anne Cooney Laing; a son, James L. Laing and wife, Becky; two daughters, Sandra M. Scott, and Deborah S. Myers; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister, Katherine A. Walker.
Memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Thomas Gallagher celebrant. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
