Obituary for Wilbur Marion "Don" Gray
Wilbur “Don” Marion Gray, 86, of Hedgesville passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born April 26, 1934 in Tennessee, he was the son of the late Columbus Gray and Mamie Gray.
Wilbur worked at General Motors and attended Snyder’s Bible Chapel. He was a member of the Panhandler’s Square-Dancing Club.
He is survived by a son, Michael and wife, Shirl; three daughters, Reba Nell Wentz, Denise Jean Mursch and husband, Carl, and Patricia Ann Pyros; grandchildren, Shane, and wife, Susie Wentz, John and wife, Alicia Wentz, Louis Nicholas Pyros, and Philip Pyros, Melinda and husband, Stephen Kirkland, Kristin and husband, Kris Dempsey, and Anna and husband, Derek Moore; great grandchildren, Hannah Wentz, Michael Craig, Seth Austin, Evan Christian, Cheyenne Alexis Gray, Alexis, and Philip Pyros, Kaileah Williams, Laikyn Adkins, Kiara, Karly, and Kaleb Dempsey, and Payton, and Rogan Moore. great great grandchild, Francis Baylee Mursch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Marie Gray; a daughter, Laurie Florence Gray; and a grandchild, Jennifer Mursch.
The family will receive friends at Snyder’s Bible Chapel on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to follow at 12 noon with Donald Dick officiating.
Interment will be at Snyder’s Cemetery.
