Obituary for Wayne Edward Triggs
Wayne Edward Triggs, 85, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his residence under the care of Hospice.
Born April 5, 1937 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Boyd Triggs, Sr., and Mildred Donivan Triggs.
Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid bowler and loved hunting and fishing. He was a huge fan of Martinsburg High School football. Wayne loved watching his grandson DJ play baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy Triggs; one son, David Triggs (Melissa); one daughter, Tammy Reese (John); four grandchildren, Jasmine, Naomi, DJ and Kendra; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Matt Hendershot; one brother Boyd; and two sisters, Sharon and Lola.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Beth Green officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Ln., Kearneysville, WV 25430.
