Obituary for Warren Rodney "Pee Wee" Manuel
Warren “Pee Wee” Rodney Manuel, 65, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
Born March 7, 1955 in Warrenton, VA he was the son of the late William Manuel and Margaret Weeks Manuel.
Warren was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Charles Town. He was an avid Redskins and WVU fan. He had worked at the Charles Town Racetrack and loved horse racing. He had also been the manager of Taco Bell on Dual Highway for 15 years in Hagerstown and longtime manager of 7-11 in Charles Town. He spent many years raising money for Muscular Dystrophy and even slept on top of the
7-11 sign to raise funds.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Roxann Shives Manuel; two daughters, Jennifer Rhinaman and Julie Hawes; four grandchildren, Emily, Ali, and Macy Rhinaman and Charlotte Hawes; two brothers, Wade Manuel and Tony Manuel; and one sister, Linda Manuel.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Beverly Turner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
