Obituary for Wanda Lee McGown (Kees)
Wanda Lee McGown, 86, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at E A Hawse Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born April 21, 1934 in Gerrardstown, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lewis W. Kees and Ethel V. Wilt Kees.
She is survived by her husband of 67 ½ years, Willard D. “Huck” McGown; one son, Daniel S. McGown (Sue) of Gerrardstown; two daughters, Linda S “Susie” Johnson (Jimmy) of Alexandria, VA, and Bonnie R. Viands (Emory) of Crab Orchard, KY; four grandchildren, Jackie L. Bowen, Jeromy L. Viands, A. Renee McGown, and Alexandria D. Plum; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Bowen, Liam and Gabriel Plum, Molly and Ethan Viands; one brother James W. Kees of Inwood; and one sister, Debbie Myers of Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by a son, Rick W. McGown; and two brothers, Harold Kees and Millard “Buck” Kees.
Services and interment will be private.
