Obituary for Vicki Charlene Shank (Peoples)
Vicki Charlene Peoples Shank, 70, of Falling Waters passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her home.
Born February 14, 1951, she is the daughter of Joy Lee Munson Peoples and
the late Oscar E. Peoples.
Vicki was employed with the Berkeley County Board of Education as a school bus driver until she retired. She graduated from South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD. She was a loving mother and caring person to friends and family. She cared for and was guardian to her sister, Sherry Peoples, for several years after she retired. Vicki loved gardening and had many collections that she displayed in her home.
She is survived by her three sons, Shane R. Bowman and his wife, Tina, Ty Lancer Bowman and his wife, Catherine, and Clint Shank; grandchildren, Lloyd Bowman, Ashley Braner, Justin Wood, Jessica Braner, Savannah Shank, Jesse Costello, Justin Costello, Kevin Trussell, and Christopher Trussell; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Dixie Deering and her husband, Rob, Tonia Canfield, and Sherry Peoples; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robin E. Peoples; and a wonderful grandson, Dakota Troy Bowman.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Tomahawk Presbyterian Cemetery.
