Obituary for Thelma Eugenia Kretzer
Thelma Eugenia Kretzer, 93, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2023 at Stonerise Nursing Home in Berkeley Springs.
Born June 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James Raymond Williams and Nora Frances (Locke) Williams. She was a waitress for 40 years at the Charles Town Race Track.
Thelma is survived by sons Michael B. Frye; James W. Kretzer; and granddaughter Angela M. Kretzer.
Aside from her parents and stepfather, William Allen, she was preceded in death by husbands Bruce Frye and James Grove Kretzer; and brother Homer Edward Allen.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 3:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
