Obituary for Susan "Jesse" Barrett
Susan Barrett (Jesse), 73, of Falling Waters, passed away into the arms of our Lord and Savior.
Born December 27, 1948 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late David Barrett and Mona L. Barrett (Wier).
Susan was a ray of sunshine. She always brought laughter to all of our hearts. We praise God we had you for 73 years. She loved being with friends and family. (Always goofing off.) She spent her time going to Bingo, gambling, riding around, and playing cards. She had a bright, beautiful smile and an ornery laugh to go with it. She had an immense amount of friends who loved her unconditionally.
Special thanks to Chris and Rachael Kline for always opening up their home, and to Rich Kline for being there. Mel, you will forever be thanked from our family for the special love you showed Susan in her last months. An extra special thank you to Millie and Misty for the special bond you and Susan shared. You were always there running her to her Dr.’s and all her appointments. she truly loved you beyond measure and was very thankful for you.
Susan is survived by her son Kevin Barrett; daughters, Tammy Myers (John) and Theresa Kline; brothers, David Barrett, Bobby Barrett; sisters, Glenda Stephens, Betty Cloud, and Patsy Elliott; and sister-in-law, Mille Barrett; four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Allen Barrett, and Doug Barrett; sister Donna Boarman; and brothers-in-law, Larry McCarty and Forrest Boarman; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Barrett.
Services and interment are private.
