Obituary for Sue Ellen Frick (Emery)
Sue Ellen Jane Frick, 79, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born March 22, 1941 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Frank Emery and Mary McCarty Emery.
She is survived by four sons, Ricky Frick and wife, Sissy, Ernest Todd Frick, George William Frick, and Robert Michael Frick and wife, Christine; three daughters, Kathy Shell and husband, Dennis, Nancy Carol Frick, and Penny Ann Frick; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Burke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her special aide, Kimberly Walls and to Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Frick, Sr.; two sons, Henry Frick, Jr. and David “Scott” Frick; one daughter, Susan Elaine McKibbens; two brothers, Buddy Emery and William “Billy” Emery; and a brother-in-law, Thomas Burke.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00PM with Pastor Robert Fraley officiating at the Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Paynes Chapel Cemetery.
