Stephen James Moore, 67, passed away on April 17, 2021, in his home in Martinsburg, WV.

Born May 4th, 1953, in Washington DC, he is the son of the late Marie Moore.

Stephen had a fulfilling career working in pathogens for Fairfax County, Virginia, for over 20 years. He was a talented musician, artist, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He knew what to say to make anyone laugh. He enjoyed playing his multiple guitars, making wooden and plastic models, and spending time with his two dogs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and pet parent.

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his former wife Karen, his sister Linda, and his mother Marie.

He is survived by his sons Ian Moore and Scott Sommer, his daughters Cory Moore, Samantha Sommer, and Jessica Anders, and his grandchildren Aiden and Inara Moore and Ariel Sommer.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home located in Martinsburg, WV.

Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
