Shirley Elizabeth Jones Funk, 65, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born July 16, 1957 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Jones and Jule Delia James Jones.
She is survived by two sons, Jason Clark, and Billy Funk; four daughters, Julie Carter (Creighton Carter), Brittany Funk (Joseph Hilleary), Ashley Funk (Jessell Kingery), and Chante Cook (Freddy Cook); 17 grandchildren, Aaliyah Funk, Eythan Funk, Lehvi Funk, Breana Clark, Sierra Clark, Evan Clark, Creighton Carter, Jr., Julian Carter, Javaughn Carter, Dapollo Kingery, Micole Kingery, Jacob Huff, Georgie Whetzel, Skylin Funk, Anna Whetzel, Caydence Cook, and Hailey Whetzel; numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Darlene Miller and companion Kenneth “Bub” Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Jack” Edward Funk; two brothers, Roger Jones, and Edward “Lee” Jones; and one sister, Linda Davis.
Services and interment will be private.
