Sherman Banks, 72, of Falling Waters passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at his residence.
Born December 22, 1948 in New Bern, NC. He was the son of the late Ruby Moran.
Sherman served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by a son, Lee Banks and wife, Lori; a daughter, Sharon Banks; four grandchildren, Bailee Banks, Kaylyn Banks, Jordan Banks, and Jessica Zaruba Maxey; three great grandchildren, Gavin Maxey, Shasten Maxey, and Brentlee Halliday; two sisters, Dorothy Farrell, and Melba Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda.
Service and interment are private.
