Obituary for Sequoia Lanay Faith "Gracie" Branson
(Gracie) Sequoia Lanay Faith Branson 16, of Gerrardstown WV went to be with her beloved Jesus who she lived for, on May 4, 2023.
Gracie was born July 9, 2006, in Washington D.C. She is the daughter of Rodney Branson and Shathena Caton. Gracie was raised by her Pap and Maw-Maw, Hank and Shawnee Caton. She is also survived by her great-grandmother, Maxine Caton and her grandmother, Alice Sims.
She was a member of the Trinity Grace Fellowship.
She is survived by her brothers, Drake, and Keanu Robinson of Martinsburg WV. Her sister, Danielle Robinson and niece, Jahzara Robinson. She is also survived by her sister/cousin, Makayla Caton, they were always together.
Gracie is survived by her uncle, Joshua Caton, who she loved and adored, he was her best friend. She is also survived by her aunt, Patricia Caton and cousin, Threston Caton. She is survived by her aunt/sister, Courtney Raney and baby Asher of Inwood WV, Gracie and Courtney were like sisters.
Gracie is also survived by her aunt, Tekisha Caton Montgomery, uncle, Bill Montgomery, and cousin, Caleb Caton of Martinsburg WV, she loved to talk on the phone with Kisha and kid around.
She is also survived by her great aunt, Christine Graham of Martinsburg WV. Gracie is survived by many more uncles, aunts, and cousins on both sides of her family.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Rev. Marcus Caton Sr., great-grandmother Phyllis Jean Fellers, grandfather, Rodney Branson Sr., and great grandfather, Charles, and Florence (Granny) Brown. She was also proceeded in death by her cousin, Jada Skye Faircloth.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, WV.
Service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Inwood Assembly of God with Pastor Hank Canton officiating.
Interment will be a the Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
