Obituary for Russell Howard "Rusty" Stewart
Russell “Rusty” Howard Stewart, 72, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born December 29, 1948 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Earl Lee Stewart and Eleanor Rudy Stewart.
He loved his stuffed animals, particularly bears, music and books. He would get a new book every Sunday from his sister, Carol. He attended the Special Olympics at the Grove Center and attended dances at the center.
He is survived by a sister Carol “Carolyn” Puffinburger; special niece and nephew, Stephen Hennessy and his family, Christina Pike and her family; and special friend, Carol at the Grove Center.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021at Rosedale Cemetery.
