Obituary for Rose Marie Stefanko (Kotlarsic)
Rose Marie Stefanko, 85, of Hedgesville, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her home.
Born December 14, 1937, in Fairbanks, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Kotlarsic and Stella Racut Kotlarsic.
Rose was a faithful member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She loved cooking, volunteering at the church, family, gardening, and she was an animal lover.
She is survived by four sons, William “Billy” Stefanko, Timothy Stefanko and wife, Janet, David Stefanko, Kenneth Stefanko and wife, Barbara; six grandchildren, Justin Stefanko, Tara Pennington, Siara Wallace, Benjamin Stefanko, Candie Stefanko, Joshua Stefanko; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Julius Kotlarsic, Jerome Kotlarsic and one sister, Betty Ann McCann.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Stefanko, granddaughter, April Stefanko, daughters- in-law, Christine Stefanko, Sharon Stefanko, two sisters, Dorothy Potocar, Nellie McCann, brother John Kotlarsic, and three other siblings.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Brown Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Alloysius Boh celebrant.
Interment will be in Hedgesville Cemetery.
