Obituary for Ronald L. Long Sr.
Ronald L. Long, Sr., 65, and Marcia Ann Long, 57, of Martinsburg, passed away due to COVID -19 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Marcia was born January 13, 1964 in Martinsburg, WV and passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ashby Dugan and Mildred Anna Mae Faircloth Malatt and stepdaughter of Melvin Malatt.
Ronald was born March 25, 1955 in Martinsburg, WV and passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. He was the son of the late Garland Clifton and Mildred Orr Long.
They are survived by their four children, Melissa Long (Brett Sisler), Ronald Long, Jr. (Kimberly White), Stacy Long (William Rotz), and Robert Long; and four grandchildren, Terry Markley, III, Rebekah Markley, Kaitlin Long, and Aiden Long.
Marcia is also survived by one brother, Charles Wesley Dugan, Sr. (Susan), and one sister, Tina Mae Witt (Kenny).
Ronald is also survived by two sisters, Vickie Cosner (John), and Brenda Edwards; dear friend, Kathy Mull; and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will only be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating.
Interment will be private.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
