Obituary for Robyn Joan Lowry (Powell)
Robyn Joan Powell Lowry, 73, wife of Pastor Curt Lowry, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
Born November 24, 1948, in Te Kopuru, Dargaville Northland, New Zealand, she was the daughter of the late Max Allan Powell and Kathleen Elizabeth McElligott Powell.
Robyn is survived by her husband, Pastor Curt Lowry; son Curt Lowry II and wife Sonja of NC; four grandchildren, Sofia, Noah, Tripp, and Reese, all of NC; two sisters, Sharon and husband Dennis Thompson of NZ, and Gail and Husband Tony Page of AUZ; and two brothers, Richard and wife Christy Powell of NV, and John and wife J.A. Powell of NZ.
Robyn and Pastor Lowry want to thank The Lord for His faithfulness to us and our family. He has truly blessed us exceedingly and abundantly in our ministry together at Independent Bible Church, Martinsburg. Our hope is in The Lord, and in His Promises. We believe that because of Robyn’s personal faith in Jesus and because of Jesus’s Resurrection that Robyn’s already enjoying all that the Lord has been preparing for her in Heaven.
Please trust Jesus as your personal Savior today, so that when your time comes you will be ready to meet Him. John 1:25-26 Jesus is The Resurrection and The Life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Independent Bible Church, 2306 Hedgesville Rd., Martinsburg, WV 25403.
Interment will be private.
