Obituary for Ricky Lee Strong
Ricky Lee Strong, 60, passed away unexpectedly June 26, 2022, at Berkeley Medical Center. He was born September 22, 1961 in Missouri, the son of Edward Lee Strong and Mary Ellen (Phillips) Canby.
Ricky graduated from Martinsburg high school. He served in the US Army. He was a chef at the Blue Anchor Inn.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Avalos, Wife, Sharon; surviving in addition to his mother, Mary Ellen Canby; daughter, Mary Ellen Hernandez; brother, Randy Strong; sister, Dena Bowers and her husband Max; nieces, Ashley Bowers, Kristin Donachy; Nephews, Austin Bowers, Adam Strong; seven grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
