Obituary for Richard Elston "Bud" Luttrell
Richard (Bud) Elston Luttrell, 68, passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2023 at his residence in Hedgesville, WV.
Born July 7, 1954 in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Mary Adalee Stuckey Luttrell and Paul Elston Luttrell.
He graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1972. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed camping, being out in nature, and spending time with family and friends. He was a wealth of self-obtained knowledge and loved to educate others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra S Luttrell at home; son Travis Luttrell (Jessika) of Martinsburg, stepchildren: Eric Wilson, Dawn Martinez, Billy Wasson, and Stephanie Wasson (Joe); grandchildren: Bryce and Nevaeh Luttrell, and 7 step grandchildren, sister Brenda K. Claywell of Martinsburg, brother Paul D. Luttrell of Inwood. Richard is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins of several generations and by various in-laws, most of which reside in Martinsburg or surrounding areas in WV. He is proceeded in death by his brother Daniel A. Luttrell and companion Cindy Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Westview Baptist Church on 301 South Louisiana Ave., Martinsburg, WV 25401.
Interment will be private.
