Obituary for Richard Gene Light Sr.
Richard Gene Light, Sr., 53, of Martinsburg passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
Born February 12, 1968 in Martinsburg, WV he is the son of Larry Light, Sr., and the late Frances Marie Gregory Light.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three sons, Richard Light, Jr., Dalton Light, and Dillion Light; four daughters, Kasie Light-Frazier, Jessica Myers, Miami Light, and Desiree Bohrer; two grandchildren, Aubree Frazier, and Xiomara Bohrer; fiancé, Eileen Thompson; and one sister, Deneise Hess and her husband, Kevin Hess.
Ricky enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he was a member of the Martinsburg Warlock Motorcycle Club. He loved all his brothers.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will only be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM with Pastor Jim Roberts officiating. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives. Interment will be private.
