Mr. Raymond Edward Rickel, age 87, of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born July 3, 1933, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Charles William and Ruth (Jones) Rickel. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Raymond then became an employee at Mitchell & Best Homes until his retirement.

Mr. Rickel is survived by a stepdaughter, Linda Cash and two stepsons, Chris and
Richard Moore; one son, Timothy Scott Rickel; one daughter, Beverly J. Rickel; one brother, Robert Rickel;
close friend, Lori Kwek; grandchildren, Christopher Cash (wife, Tammy), Robert Cash (wife, Karen), Richard
Cash (wife, Stacey), Jennifer Moore, Michael Moore, Sean Moore, Carolyn (Moore) Boyce (husband,
Brendan), Ted Moore, Frances Moore (husband, Ian Bradley) William Moore; 13 great-grandchildren and four
great, great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Lois
Schwab Rickel; one son, Raymond Rickel Jr.; one grandson, Ron Cash Jr.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
