Rosemary Jeannine Miller Mankins, 78, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the Hospice Inpatient Facility.
Born on November 24, 1941 in Kingwood, she was the daughter of the late Howard Clarence Miller and Mary Agnes Hartsell Miller.
Rosemary was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, in Grafton, WV. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing with an RN degree. She was a school nurse for the Taylor County School System.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Edgar Mankins; three sons, M. Douglas Mankins and wife Mary, of Suffolk, VA, Scott D. Mankins and wife, Cassie, of Winchester, VA, and Brad Lee Mankins and wife, Amy, of Fayetteville, WV; six grandchildren, Abby Miller and husband, Stephen, Jackson Mankins, Rachel and Lauren Mankins, Brian Ball and wife, Tracey, and David Ball; two brothers, Marshall F. Miller and wife Patti Lou, of Terra Alta, WV, Howard J. Miller, of Parkersburg, WV, one sister Carol A. Vogler and husband, Lawrence, of Charles Town, WV; and five great grandchildren, Cooper Miller, Jordan, Anna, Andrew, and Natalie Ball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister in law, Dolores J. Mankins.
A memorial service will be held in Grafton, WV, at a later date. Interment will be private.
