Obituary for Phyllis Maxine Bowers (Jenkins)
Phyllis Maxine Jenkins Bowers, 90, of Martinsburg passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her residence.
Born December 5, 1930 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Guilford Lake Jenkins and Ella Mae Wilt Jenkins.
She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was cared for by Heather Darringer and Hospice the last months of her life here on earth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Eugene Bowers; two sisters, Ella Jean Jenkins and Dorothy Lee Jenkins Avey; brother-in-law Charles Avey; and one nephew Marvin Hess.
There will be no services due to COVID.
