Obituary for Peter Zimmerman, III
Peter Zimmerman, III, 68, of Bunker Hill passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at his residence.
Born August 14, 1954, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Peter Zimmerman, Jr. and Jesse Mae (Sefton) Zimmerman.
Peter was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He worked at the VA medical center in the labor shop and worked in maintenance.
He is survived by his wife “Cathy” Zimmerman (Gray); sons, Dennis Gray, Petey Zimmerman IV, and Robert Zimmerman, Sr.; grandchildren, Hannah, Kaleigh, Trinity, Alexis, Robert, Jr., Petey V, and Liam; brother William Zimmerman; and sister, Irene Norman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Zimmerman.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Jaime Garcia officiating. Family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
