Obituary for Peggie Ann Collis (Cain)
Peggie Ann Cain Collis,79, of Bunker Hill passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Jefferson Medical Center.
Born July 18, 1942 in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph "Buddy" Cain and Mattie Evelyn Huffman Cain.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Inwood.
She is survived by a son, Michael L. Collis and wife, Sandra M., of Bunker Hill; daughter Robin L. Reynolds and husband, John R., of Inwood; four grandchildren, Shaun, Lauren, Kristen, Dylan; four great-grandchildren, Maziar, Layla, Wyatt, and Cadence; two brothers, Donnie L. Cain of Inwood and Dale Fogleman of Deland, FL; and one sister, Bonnie G. Shade of Inwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Leroy Collis; a sister, Betty Linaweaver; and one grandson, Christopher Reynolds.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Devin Ward officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel.
Interment will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
