Paul Yamamoto Stafford of Shepherdstown, WV passed away at home on Friday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 70. It is a great loss and we will all miss him greatly.

Paul was born on June 11, 1951 on the US Army base in Osaka, Japan to Masa and Lawrence Stafford who both preceded him in death.

Paul started out professionally in landscaping and surveying before he became an estimator for
construction and excavating companies. He spent more than twenty years with Gabe’s Services in Frederick, MD where he ended his career as a Senior Estimator.

Paul loved Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, and The Godfather. He enjoyed walking the dogs when he was able and traveling. He did not feel the same affection for watermelon Jolly Ranchers or cranberry sauce.

In 1993 he married the love of his life, Marjorie and in 2001 they moved to Shepherdstown, WV. He is survived by Marjorie, his daughters Wendy Johnson and Laura Mock (Cheryl Jennings), brother Carl Stafford (Sue), sister Grace Stafford, granddaughters Jacqueline and Camille Johnson, nephew Kyle Stafford, and niece Erin Lockard (Matthew), and the puppy Jazz.
