Obituary for Paul Anthony Morgan

Paul Anthony Morgan, 54, of Martinsburg, WV completed his earthly journey on January 11, 2023. Paul’s journey began on October 1st, 1968 in Martinsburg, WV. He was the son of Ray Morgan (deceased) and Marjorie Morgan. He is survived by his sister, Tammy (Mike) Kidwiler of Gerrardstown; two brothers, Ronald Gladden of Bakerton, and Craig Gladden of Frederick; three nephews and two nieces; special cousin, Shirley Staubs; many cousins, aunts, and uncles. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Ann Morgan.

Paul grew up in Gerrardstown and graduated Musselman High School in 1986 as class valedictorian. He continued his education at Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Design, Paul kickstarted his design career with Jones New York Company. From there, he joined the Coca Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia and traveled extensively, spending much of his time in Asia. Paul owned his own consultation business, Filter Five and most recently was employed by The Container Store in Rockville, Maryland as a customer service representative and designer.

Paul attended Northpoint Community Church in Atlanta, Georgia and Martinsburg Church of Christ. In 2020, Paul was diagnosed with cancer. This diagnosis brought him even closer to God and each challenge was recognized as the next step of his journey. He is now on a new journey, rejoicing in Heaven for eternity.

Friends and family will be received between 6 & 8 pm on Sunday, January 15th at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, WV. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Brown Funeral Home Monday, January 16th at 1:00 pm with Pastor Harold Newsome officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery. A fellowship meal will be served at Martinsburg Church of Christ following the graveside service.
