Obituary for Olivia Kay White (Jackson)
Olivia K. White, 73, of Kearneysville, WV passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Berkeley Medical center.
Oliva was born July 28, 1949, in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Daniel Russell Jackson and Frances Virginia (Parker) Adams.
Olivia attended Ramer School and Martinsburg High School. She received LPN license from James Rumsey Technical School prior to receiving RN license from Shepherd University. She retired from Berkeley Medical Center after 10 years of employment as a Case Manager following 28 years of service at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center at which time she retired.
Olivia was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in which she was a member of the Prayer Warriors, the Women who worship God group and a Deacon.
She also enjoyed cowboy action shooting. Her alias was “Stardust”.
She is survived by three sons, Tyrone Jackson and wife Lisa of Martinsburg, LeAnthony Jackson of Lakeland, Florida and Jerry Ledbetter of Charles Town; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by Dr. Eleanor Gooch, best friend of 60 years and close friend and caregiver, Sandy King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Lane and James Adams.
Service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, at 12 Noon at Covenant Baptist Church in Shepherdstown, WV. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Martinsburg, WV.
