Obituary for Neda Lee Shackleford (Smith)
Neda Lee Shackelford, 82, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born July 1, 1940 in Martinsburg she was the daughter of the late Herbert Smith and Bertha Clark Smith.
Neda was a member of the Bedington United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Harry Mentzer; two sons, Rodger Shackelford and his significant other, Janie, Robert Shackelford and wife, Karen; one daughter, Rosemary Clark and husband, Tod; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Shackelford; and twin sons, Richard and Russel. Neda was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by numerous siblings.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Summers officiating.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
