Michael Wayne Harrell, 70, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born July 16, 1950, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Herbert Garfield Harrell and Alice Lewis Harrell. He is survived by his sister, Regina (Gina) Sargent and husband Derreck; his niece Emily Franckewitz; one brother, Melvin Martin and wife, Penny; nephew Michael Martin and niece, Ginger Martin.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Robinson.

Michael was a skilled carpenter, hard-working, simple giving man who helped those in need. He was a patriot who loved God, Country, and friends (and Trump). Born and raised in Martinsburg, he loved this town and the decades of friends that he made along the way.

The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends from the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
