Obituary for Mary Alice Dugan (Hedrick)
Mary Alice Hedrick Dugan passed away on May 21,2023 in Martinsburg, WV at the age of 87.
Born on December 16, 1935 in Moorefield, WV to Joseph Lemuel Hedrick and Maude Knicely Hedrick.
She was a member of Independent Bible Church for 68 years. She served faithfully in ministry with her husband Daniel Dugan as he served in the roles of assistant pastor and pastor at Independent Bible Church and Providence Bible Church. She drove a school bus for Berkeley County Schools for 24 years.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Daniel L. Dugan, her two daughters, Cheryl Cowles (Sam), and Ann Custalow (Mark). Her Grandchildren are Emily, Jonathan, and Thomas Cowles, and Hilary (Paul) Smith, and Micah (Caressa) Custalow. Her great grandchildren are Alana, Dominic and Kody Smith, and Miakoda, Arlo, and Denahi Custalow.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers Robert Hedrick, and twin brother, Murray Hedrick and one sister, Jeanette Kesecker.
Funeral services will be held on, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Independent Bible Church, 2306 Hedgesville, Rd., Martinsburg, WV 25403, with Pastor Sam Cowles, and Pastor Mark Custalow officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. at the church.
Interment will be in the Falling Waters Presbyterian Cemetery at Spring Mills.
