Obituary for Martha Jane "Momma" Lowe (Barnhouse)
Martha Jane Lowe (Momma), 72, of Martinsburg passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her home.
Born August 30, 1948 in Montgomery County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Carol Barnhouse and Virginia Best.
She is survived by a son, Herbert Lowe, Jr (Nicole); six daughters, Polly Wetzel (Brian), Virginia (Taterbabe) Waldron (Bruce), Kathy Stoner (JR), Dale Parsons (Gerald), Becky Lowe (Woody), and Michelle Long (Larry); 25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry, Aster, and Franky; and a sister, Lee Star Doane.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Herbert Lowe (Pert); and a son Herbert Julian Lowe.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the chapel with David Davis officiating.
Interment will be at Central Chapel Cemetery.
