Obituary for M. Jane Herbaugh (Dillard)

M. "Jane" Herbaugh, 83 of Inwood, WV, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born May 19, 1938 in Halltown, WV she was the daughter of Mary E. Nichols Dillard and W. Jennings Dillard.

Jane was a homemaker and baby sat a lot of small children for moms who worked, always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needed help. She loved to work outside in the flowers. Jane attended Darkesville United Methodist Church and she had many friends.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Beverly J. and Ronnie Woolum of Darkesville; two grandchildren, Ryan J. and Evan S. Woolum; a great grandson, Kamdyn; nieces, Kimberly J. Perry and Kristie Mongan Hutzler of Bunker Hill; and two sisters, Nancy L. Jones and Linda C. Canby of Inwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wyett L. Herbaugh and a sister Cathleen Yeager of Hagerstown, MD.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Stephen Knox officiating.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
