Lyle Files, 60, of Falling Waters passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.

Born October 27, 1960 in Dickson, TN, he was the son of the late Wayne C. Files and Pearl Jeanine Lord Files.

Lyle worked as a carpenter and was of the Protestant Faith.

He is survived by his companion of 22 years, Etta Mae Longerbean; a son, Daniel “Lewis” Files; two daughters, Crystal Baker and Amber Files; a grandchild, Aleya Kay Files; three brothers, Mike (Linda), Dennis, and Glenn Files; five sisters, Connie Butts (Jeff), Belinda Silver (Gary), Jackie Files, Tammy Angstadt (Mike), and Marie Beavers (Jay); and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny and Timmy; and a sister, Cathy Files.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, 36 Laing Drive, Martinsburg, WV, 25404.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Interment will be held at Johnsontown Bible Church Cemetery.
