Obituary for Lucille Katherine "Lucy" Gladden
Lucille “Lucy” Katherine Gladden, 81, of Gerrardstown passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022.
Born March 16, 1941 in Berkeley County, WV she was the daughter of the late Harley Delbert McCain and Wannah Greathouse Moyer. Lucy was a tiny woman with a big heart.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Vernon Gladden; one son, Vernon Gladden, Jr.; one daughter, Staci Woodward (John Wasson); four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Harley McCain, Jr.; and two sisters, Nancy Funkhouser and Alice Jackson.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Donna Price, Charlotte Hathaway, and Brenda K. Gladden; one son, Timothy Gladden; one brother, William McCain; and one sister, Elizabeth Rush.
Services and interment are private.
