Lillian Geneva “Hubbard” Custer, 82, of Martinsburg passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born May 1, 1938 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Frank F. and Ida May Miller Faircloth.
She was a member of Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church.
Lillian was an amazing woman with a beautiful heart.
She touched so many hearts and shed a light on so many lives each day with her kindness, her generosity, her laughter, and her beautiful love.
Her family will miss her immensely but will hold her in their hearts each day and continue to grow and share the love that she has given them so that she will live on through all of us.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Custer; three daughters, Elizabeth Hubbard, Deborah Haslup and husband, James, and Robin Barrick and husband, Ronald; four grandchildren, Russell and Roland Barrick, Robert Shifflett, and Genna Hendrick; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Junior Faircloth; and one sister, Eleanor Aikens.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and eight sisters.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00PM at Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Corey Bane officiating.
Entombment will be in Maranatha Memorial Gardens on church grounds.
