Obituary for Larry Delbert Strobridge
Larry Delbert Strobridge, 77, of Hedgesville, WV passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the VA Hospital.
Born October 22, 1945 in Berkeley County, he was the son of the late Delbert and Myrtle (Wright) Strobridge.
He is survived by his wife Linda Poole Strobridge whom he married December 24, 1992; son, Eric (Becky); daughter, Misty (Jonathan); stepchildren, Kevin Woods (Sandi), Becky Smith (Connor), and Crystal; brother, Ronald Strobridge; sister, Wanda Bayer; grandchildren, Eric (Boo), Erica, Ethan, and Anthony; six step grandchildren, and twelve step great grandchildren, one special step great grandchild, Tater Bug; others who were also dear to him, Tammy, Tony, Andrew, Tommy, and Patti; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Larry Strobridge; sister Linda Miller and sister-in-law Carol Strobridge.
Larry served in the Army in Vietnam and retired from GM after 30 plus years. He was a life member of the VFW 896 and MOC American Legion Post 14.
The family would like to thank Hospice of The Panhandle and the VA Doctors and staff, he loved you all.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11AM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
Pall bearers will be grandsons, Dalton, Christopher, Nicholas, Zachery, Eric (Boo), and Ethan. Honorary pall bearers are Brady and Anthony.
