Obituary for Karen Lynn Plotner (Files)

Karen Lynn Plotner, 68, of Bunker Hill went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at her daughter’s home.

Born July 23, 1952 in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Norman Franklin Files and Emma E. Franks Files.

Karen was a member of the Cedar Grove Christian Church. She was devoted to her family, and a loyal friend to all that knew her.

She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Ruble and husband, Jerry Ruble, who she loved like a son, and considered him one; a son, Henry Plotner, III, a special daughter-in-law, Patti Plotner, and Johnny; and a sister, Shirley Hall Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Plotner, Jr.

The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the funeral home with Evangelist Zack Lister officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
