Obituary for Judy Lorraine Hammond (Baker)
Judy L. Hammond, 75, of Kearneysville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Hospice of the
Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born January 6, 1946 in Washington County, MD she was the daughter of the late Ramona Elizabeth (Baker) Young and stepdaughter of the late Huffer Leon Young.
Judy loved her “boys”, farming, and horses.
She is survived by two brothers, Chris Young (Debbie) of Williamsport, and Mark Young (Marilyn) of Hagerstown; Bruce (Marlene) Hammond, Dallas, Mary, Bobby and Stacy; (18 grandchildren) (7 great-grandchildren); Eric (Gail) Hammond, Eric Jr., Denny, Kevin, Jesse (3 grandchildren); and a great-granddaughter, Kiersten; Robin (Eunice) Hammond, Fernando, Jose, Jaciel (1 grandchild); Jody (Ann) Hammond (daughter Samantha); a special daughter by love, Debbie Giffin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Robert Hammond.
Services and interment will be private.
