Obituary for Juanita Katherine Collis (Kirby)
Juanita Katherine Kirby Collis, 72, of Hedgesville passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Born September 28, 1950, in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Goldie Fravel Kirby.
She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. She was a care giver for dementia patients for many years. She was a very caring and giving person to everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Collis; two daughters, Julie A. Onifade (Ebrima), and Lisa R. Agoney (Ryan); three grandsons, KeShawn Carter, Latif Onifade, and Parker Agoney; and one sister, Gloria E. Ashby (Earl).
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle E. Collis; and brother, Ronald Kirby (Tommy).
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
