Obituary for Joyce Ann Moore
Joyce Ann Moore of Bunker Hill. WV, gracefully went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2022.
Born August 18, 1947…She has been preceded by her mother, Lora Edith Frazier, her brothers David and Bill, her sister Betty, nephew Petie and God-daughter Nicole.
Surviving relatives are her his sister Donna, her husband of 52 incredible years Charles Roland Moore of Bunker Hill, son Rodney L. Moore and wife Summer of Martinsburg, daughter Ellen J. Moore of Mooresville, NC, her five grandchildren: Taylar (Moore) Belfield, Reilley Moore, Trisha Vogel, Mary Jane Winte and Carley Shellhorn; her four great-grandchildren: Grant, Kennedy, Fallyn and Deacon, along with her nieces and nephews; Cathy, Davey, Paul, Carter, Lora Marie, Lori, Shelly, John, Josh and Ashley.
Joyce lived an amazing life. A gracious and giving person, she loved people, never met a stranger and always put everyone else first. She was willing to sacrifice herself through the giving of her time and resources in order to help her family and friends. A great cook that enjoyed preparing meals for her family, her specialties included homemade Chicken and Dumplins, Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Baked Macaroni & Cheese, Green Beans and Deviled eggs.
She worked for many years for Adelphia and Comcast as a customer service representative helping people with their cable and internet services, while also volunteering in the community.
In her spare time she enjoyed being with family and watching her grandchildren play sports – she rarely missed a game, not to mention loved playing BINGO and cards with her friends.
She loved George Strait, but………Jesus is her Lord and Savior. She is in Heaven at peace.
A Celebration of Life - Memorial Service will be held at the Holiday Inn-Martinsburg, WV on Wednesday July 6, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
We would like to welcome all family and friends alike to join us for an evening of fellowship to remember such an amazing Wife, Mother, Daughter, Mammaw, Great-Mammaw, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend.
