Obituary for Johanna Lynn Coe (Dowd)
Our sister in Christ, Johanna Lynn Coe, 56, formerly of Hagerstown passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Born August 6, 1964 in Fort Meade, MD she is the daughter of James Dowd and the late Geraldine Alice Ann Chamberlin Dowd.
A loving wife and mom, her heart and soul were with Christ and her family. She loved to spend time with her husband and children, traveling, drawing, sketches, and would never pass up the chance to make a jigsaw puzzle. In addition to her family; genealogy and family history were her passion. Johanna was happiest outdoors enjoying God’s beauty and wonder in his creation.
She was a veteran of the US Navy having retired as a Legalman.
She is survived by her husband Dana Coe; her two sons, James and Thomas Coe; her father James Dowd and wife Mary Beth; and her brothers, Jeffery, Greg, and Tim Dowd.
