Obituary for Jesse Leroy Tasker
Jesse Leroy Tasker, 70, of Hedgesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born March 10, 1950, in Terra Alta, WV, he was the son of the late Glenn Tasker and Lucy Parrack Tasker Kelly.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Snyder’s Bible Church and was active in Oglebay Nature Camps and Snyder’s Food Pantry.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Brenda Conner Tasker; six children, Todd Tasker, Daniel Tasker, Marisa Varley, Autumn Dalton, D. Patrick Smith, April Smith; ten grandchildren, Aaron Tasker, Allyson Varley, Chase Tasker, Jenna Tasker, Donovan Varley, Madison Varley, Morgan Tasker, Danica Tasker, Kayla Soefje, Shanda Dalton; one great grandchild, Elara Soefje; and one sister, Leanna Mersing.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Glenn R. Tasker; two sisters, Naomi Tasker and Lucy Stackhouse.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Snyder’s Bible Church with Pastor Donald Dick officiating. Visitors will be required to wear a face mask, practice social distancing, and follow directives. Interment will be private.
