Obituary for Jerry Elroy Davis
Jerry Elroy Davis, 61, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Doey’s House Nursing Home in Hagerstown.
Born May 28, 1959, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Don Elroy Davis and Daisy Loretta (Ryder) Davis.
Jerry owned his own Auto Body Repair Shop. He loved collecting old coins/currency, and loved fishing, cooking, and antique muscle cars.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Ann Singer; two daughters, Michelle Cogswell, Samantha Speck (Keith); stepdaughters, Amber Blankenship, and Sarah Singer; six grandchildren, Syriah, Zaivyan, Kairi, Lily, Emily, and Daniel; two brothers, Duke and Terry Davis; a sister, Donna Dillon; and friend, Drew Reid Spence.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for the family to receive friends only from the hours of 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020, with funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m.. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
