Obituary for Jane Bartgis Butler
Jane Bartgis Butler, 79, of Inwood passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born August 15, 1941 in Arden, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. Bartgis and Edna Orr Bartgis Horner.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Butler; one son, Scott Butler, wife Pat; and one daughter, Beth Josephs, and granddaughter Sidney Josephs.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Edgar Bartgis.
She graduated from Martinsburg High School and had a long career, first as a bank employee and later as a medical office administrator, before retiring in 2011. She was a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arden.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11:00AM with Rev. James Riley officiating at Trinity Lutheran Church of Arden, 1643 Pitzer's Chapel Road, Martinsburg, WV.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
