Jack E. Collis, 92, of Martinsburg, died on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Willow Tree in Charles Town, WV.
Born on March 24, 1930, in Berkeley County, WV, he was the son of the late Louie C. and Virginia E. Albright Collis.
He was employed for twenty-three years by the Air National Guard as Transportation Superintendent and in Motor Vehicle Maintenance. He was also a bus driver and mechanic for the Jefferson County Board of Education.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of Robert White Lodge #67, A.F. & A.M.; Golden Rule Chapter #69, O.E.S.; member of the American Legion; life member of the DAV and the VFW; member of Am Vets Post # 38, and Martinsburg Moose Lodge and a life member of the Big Lick Sportsman Club in Hardy County.
He is survived by a son, Richard L. Collis of Martinsburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sons, Robert E. Collis, and Michael S. Collis.
Services and interment are private with arrangements by Brown Funeral Home.
